This is for you if you like strong favours, raw garlic and anchovies!
Yes, this is a lot of effort for a bit of toast, but makes an amazing lunch and really doesn’t take long at all!
- Sourdough Toast
- Fresh Garlic
- Fresh Chilli
- Green olives
- olive oil
- Salt and Pepper
Pop your slices of sough dough to toast. Whilst this is happening, in a bowl combine, the chopped tomatoes, a few small slices of red onion, a squeeze of lemon, fresh chilli (to your taste) chopped basil, green olives, one anchovy thinly sliced and of course, salt, pepper and a drizzle of good quality olive oil.
Once your toast is done, slice your garlic clove in half and rub all over the warm toast, it will lightly infuse the toast with garlic. It almost melts on like butter!
Then pour over the bowl of tomatoes and other ingredients.
A little extra sprinkle of salt and pepper and drizzle of oil to finish!
